I grew up in a small farming community in southern Minnesota. We were raised with strong family values & if you weren't tired at night you probably didn't work hard enough during the day. Many years ago we decided to move to the Black Hills after numerous family vacations & we never looked back!

After proudly serving in the Air Force as a Crew Chief on an A-10, I resumed my career as a 911 dispatcher, so I'm very detail oriented....challenge accepted!!

Full disclosure I do not like mice or snakes & high places are not my forte. Day drinking....I won't judge, after all it's 5 o'clock somewhere.

My favorite color is red & i enjoy riding my Harley which of course is red. I also enjoy downhill skiing, hunting & I'm an accomplished pianist. My favorite pass-time is spending time on our ranch where we raise registered quarter horses & border collies.

My number one priority is family & together we have four successful children with careers in Law enforcement, Education, Culinary Arts & the Oil industry. We also have several smaller humans that we are quite fond of and five grand dogs. We are spread out but they are always in my heart. We have been fortunate to travel all over but there truly is no place like home.

Our Team
We custom tailor our photography to our clients because your photos should fit you perfectly! Every couple is different & we enjoy capturing the moments big and small that define who you are as a couple. Our photographers & videographer work in sync with each other, so typically we do not offer videography alone, but if you would prefer a custom quote, be sure to ask.

We have had the honor of photographing cowboy weddings complete with horses, wagons, draft teams, cowboy hats, boots & spurs. Stars wars, light sabers, flower "dudes", flower canons, motorcycles, dad's with shotguns (joke), reverse weddings, hail storms, freezing cold, sweltering heat & even a streaking flower girl! We wouldn't trade any of the memories and friendships we have made along the way so remember it's your day relax, smile & have fun.....we got this!!

Primary or 2nd Photographer/Lead videographer & drone operator. He is a bit of a prankster & will probably tell a few jokes, some might even be funny lol! Blessed to have him as my partner in life!.

Primary or 2nd photographer & great multi-tasker! She is a 2nd grade teacher and helps with weddings or family sessions on the weekends. Proud to call her my daughter!
Alexandra
2nd Photographer. She is a college student and helps during the summer months when she is not competing in equestrian events! She is our beautiful great-niece!
