Videography Questions

Are you considering videography as part of your package?  Our "Best Day Ever Package" includes a videographer for six hours as well as two photographers.  You will receive a 9-10 minute video (minimum) in a traditional straight forward chronological order of the days events.  Some videos are longer than 10 minutes depending on what you would like us to cover whether it's start to finish or just certain things.  We do allow videography to be added to any of our photography packages for $800 and you receive a 4-5 minute video. We began offering videography in January 2021 after numerous inquiries, but we do not offer it independently.  Below are some of the questions we will ask when we talk to you about the videography package.

• Do you want the videographer to capture just the ceremony and reception or would you like them to take some "getting ready" images as well and casual ones of the bridal party?

• What kind of music do you enjoy? (Classical, rock, soft rock, modern, country, contemporary, jazz)

• Will there be any "special" moments outside of the ceremony that you would like captured?  Such as giving a special gift to someone, or a special speech?  Are you doing a first look?  

• Do you have special items that you would like incorporated into the video, such as heirlooms, something borrowed, something blue, groom wearing dad's cufflinks?  Do you want your invitation or save the date included with any of the special items?

• Do you prefer dramatic fade ins or more subtle transitions?

• Would you like your vows read over the video?  We may ask you to record your vows prior to the ceremony or place microphones on you for the ceremony.

Your video will be captured chronologically.  Please ask any questions that you have so we are all on the same page prior to the wedding day.  We have shared some of our videos as examples, so be sure to look at them and let us know what you like or don't like!
